In January, Steven Michel started the first episode of his new serial project MEMBRE FANTÔME, which will take place in medical and prison environments. In collaboration with La Comédie in Clermont-Ferrand and the IME (Institut Médico-Éducatif) in Theix, Steven joined forces with sound artist Raphaëlle Latini, with whom he worked for his last solo DATADREAM.

For this first episode, they spent a week with twelve young people (aged 12-20) who are patients at the IME. They went into the journey of encountering alterity in oneself and dreaming the dark, whether through their own body, voice, or imagination. A sound archive has been created, which will be the material used for the next episode.

The series MEMBRE FANTÔME take the shape of a cadavre exquis, taking place in different locations and with the use of different media (video, sound, drawing, writing), creating a long sequence of interwoven stories and virtual correspondences.
